Arlington, TX – January 21, 2026 – American Excelsior Company has completed a significant expansion of its Molded Urethane production line at the Sheboygan, WI plant. This $2.0 million investment features a fully automated production line, effectively tripling the company’s molded division capacity. The expansion directly addresses the company’s increased demand and ongoing growth.
Meeting Increased Demand with Advanced Automation
Over the past several years, the urethane molded division has experienced rapid growth, introduction of new system offerings, and increased demand for shorter lead times. These factors created a pressing need for expanded production capabilities. The decision to invest in this expansion was made in July 2023, and the new line became fully operational in January 2025. The automated line incorporates individually controlled tool carriers, robotics, and the ability to pour multiple tools simultaneously, streamlining the production process.
